Warrior- [Commissioned Artwork]

Commissioned artwork for a personal friend and fellow history buff.
Geeking out over the similar designs between southern Chinese armor (of the Northern and Southern court period) and the highly distinctive yet highly functional tanko armor of Kofun period Japan, we explored a possible what-if scenario where the 2 cultures met and the Southern dynasties actually deployed such armors in lacquered hide form. It was a real blast.
